On 25 May, Manolis Tsapakis (HCMR) and Saioa Ramos (AZTI) presented the main objectives and expected results of the LIFE AQUAPEF project at the annual meeting of the Medaid H2020 project organised in Chania (Crete). In the session, Manolis and Saioa explained the main environmental problems caused by Mediterranean aquaculture production and the importance of measuring the environmental impact of food products according to the new PEF methodology guidelines.

Last 10th of June, Saioa Ramos, coordinator of LIFE AQUAPEF project was invited to talk about the environmental impact of the mediterranean aquaculture production in the High Level Conference on MedFish4Ever organized by the General Fisheries Comission for the Mediterraneanof FAO.
